Graduates gain:
- New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Automotive) L2
Entry Criteria:
- You need to be 16-19 years old and show a desire to enter the automotive industry (you may apply if you are 15 years old and have a MOE exemption)
- New Zealand citizen or permanent resident

About This Programme
- Gain knowledge of hand tools and workshop machinery
- Gain practical skills and experience through workshop exercises and work experience
- Learn light general engineering, general vehicle servicing and welding
- 40 weeks
- Monday – Friday 8am – 3.30pm
- Compulsory work experience once you have been assessed as ‘work ready’
- A transport allowance may also be available
- Only available in Wellington
