
Construction Trade Skills Level 3
About This Programme:
- Gain all the theory unit standards in the New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (L3) – Carpentry strand
- Learn practical skills and gain experience through workshop exercises
- Learn at your own pace on our innovative e-learning programme, with colour pictures, video’s and interactive exercises
- Learn about building specifications, and the calculations builders use
- 40 weeks – including holidays
- Monday – Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm
Entry Criteria:
- All applicants must show a sound level of literacy and numeracy. This may be achieved with:
- 12 credits or more in english and maths OR
- NCEA level 1 OR
- Completion of the Foundations Constructions Skills level 2 programme OR
- Complete a brief assessment provided by G&H Training with a minimum pass mark of 50%
- Be 16 years of age or over (or have a MOE exemption if 15 years old)
- Have a genuine desire to enter the wider building industry or related trade
