Graduates gain:
- New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (L3)
Entry Criteria:
- You need to be 16 years or over (you may apply if you are 15 years old and have a MOE exemption)
- New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- Must have 1 of the following: NCEA Level 1 or 50% pass in G&H Training english and maths test
- Class 1 drivers license or be able to get one

About This Programme
- Gain knowledge of hand tools and workshop machinery
- Gain practical skills and experience through workshop exercises and work experience
- Learn about health and safety, brakes, steering and suspension, transmissions, cooling systems, clutches, cam belts, MIG welding, workshop engineering, automotive electrical and electronics
- 41 weeks full time
- Monday – Friday 8am – 3.30pm
- Compulsory 10 days work experience once you have been assessed as ‘work ready’
- A transport allowance may also be available
- Available in Wellington only
