How do I apply?

About Youth Training

Who is this programme for?
Youth Training is a programme for young people who have left school and want to get more skills and qualifications for work.
Am I eligible?
Entry criteria to this course are set by the Tertiary Education Commission.  The course is open to youth learners aged between 16 - 18 years, who have left school with low literacy and numeracy skills.

How much does it cost?
Youth Training is free if you meet the above criteria.  If your family receives Family Support they will continue to get it while you are enrolled.  You may also be in line for a travel allowance to help you get to your training course.
Is this programme available in my area?
Be Motorvated is available in our Wellington branch.
What is the start date?
This course starts on 17 January 2011. However, you can start after this on any Monday of the year if there are places available and you are eligible.

About Be Motorvated

The National Certificate gained on this course gives students foundation skills to go on to further training, apprenticeship or employment in a variety of motor trades. It is overseen by the Motor Industry Trade Organisation (MITO).
