Before you Try to log on for the first time please ensure you have:
Windows XP Or Newer
To check what operating system you have: right click on "my computer"
On the General tab go to Properties
The first few lines of information under System will tell you what your operating system is.
If you do not have Windows XP or a more current Microsoft operating system you will not be able to access your e-learning lesson plans.
Internet Explorer 6.0
To check what version of internet explorer you have
From this page click on Help on the Menu Bar at the top of the page
Select About Internet Explorer
This will tell you what version of internet explorer you have.
If your version of internet explorer is earlier than 6.0 you may need to update it
Broadband Internet
Your internet connection needs to be a fast connection for example
Broadband
ADSL
Cable
Any of these or other fast internet connection
E-learning will not work with a Dial Up internet connection
When you click to log on you will need to Accept our ActiveX control. If you decline or don't accept this you will not be able to log on to E-learning!
Accept Active X
On the Menu Bar at the top of the page click Tools and select Internet Options
Go to the Security tab:
Click Custom level
Look for ActiveX controls and plug-ins
    Tick Download signed ActiveX controls = Enabled
    Tick Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins = Enabled
    Tick Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting = Enabled
Scroll down the list a bit further to Scripting
    Tick Active scripting = Enabled
Click OK and then click YES to save the changes then click OK again.
You will need to close and re-open Internet Explorer
Go to www.ghtraining.co.nz and click on the link to the log on page
The Logon to On-Line Learning button should now be there for you to log on.
If you are trying to log on from the public library, an internet cafe, or someone else's computer - please
check with the librarian, staff member, or person who owns the computer
that the computer meets the above requirements AND
they are happy for you to accept/change the ActiveX settings.
